Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor I to lead a production shift with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and regulatory compliance. You will drive efficiency, coach team members, and ensure timely execution of the production plan while managing costs and improving processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering, 2 years of manufacturing experience, and proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office. A strong safety culture and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in sciences or engineering is strongly preferred.
• Two years of manufacturing or related experience required. Supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience in safety, quality systems, and cGMPs is required. Familiarity with documentation in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety: promote a culture of zero incidents and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
• People: deploy teammates effectively, delegate tasks, train staff, conduct 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Operational: coordinate shift activities to meet production schedules and ensure smooth handovers.
• Compliance: manage regulatory compliance and routine checks.
• Performance: manage cycle time and change-overs, seek improvements.
• Development: provide training, create growth opportunities for direct reports.
• OpEx: participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Waste management: handle non-hazardous and hazardous waste per procedures.
