AbbVie seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor II for a 6am-6:30pm shift (Sun/Tue & every other Wed) to lead safe, compliant production operations. You will drive a high-performance culture, ensure quality, control costs, and deliver on schedules with minimal supervision.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years supervising in a regulated pharmaceutical setting, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. This on-site Texas position emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; science or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervising a functional team.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical industry and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Safety: promote a zero-incident culture on the floor and ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
• People: deploy team, delegate tasks, train staff, conduct 1:1s, and manage time/attendance.
• Operational: develop weekly goals and production schedules; coordinate shift activities to meet plans.
• Compliance: ensure regulatory compliance; conduct material/line clearance checks and address issues.
• Performance: manage change-over times, drive process improvements, and support shift throughput metrics.
• Development: foster growth and career development actions for staff.
• Operation Excellence (OpEx): participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Waste management: generate and manage non-hazardous and hazardous waste according to procedures.
