Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor I for the 1st shift (6:30am-3pm). You will lead a manufacturing team on the floor, ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and drive on-time production while controlling costs.

Bachelor's degree and 2 years manufacturing experience required; SAP experience preferred. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; sciences/engineering preferred.
• Two years manufacturing or related experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP or similar manufacturing systems.
• Working knowledge of safety, quality systems and cGMPs; strong documentation skills; aseptic experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and drive a culture of zero incidents on the shop floor.
• Manage daily deployment of team members and ensure timely production schedule.
• Coordinate shift activities to meet production targets with effective handovers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and conduct routine checks.
• Drive process improvements and manage changeovers for efficiency.
• Develop direct reports with training plans and growth opportunities.
• Participate in OpEx initiatives and manage waste per procedures.
