Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Maintenance Tech II, Compounding Facilities to support Operations Engineering & Maintenance in our Pharmacy labs. You will perform predictive and preventive maintenance on lab equipment, diagnose issues, and document maintenance activities to ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, with a focus on reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with state proof of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as part of duties.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Project Management tools.
• Able to troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Capable of documenting predictive/preventive maintenance charts and data.
• Strong written and spoken English; Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Able to climb ladders and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Willing to participate in cross-functional training and collaborate with teams.
• Knowledge of PLC and CMMS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on lab equipment (tablet presses, blenders, hoods, air compressors, etc.).
• Document maintenance data and charts as required.
• Perform repairs and troubleshoot equipment across the pharmacy environment.
• Diagnose issues in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Identify trends and develop predictive maintenance strategies.
• Communicate safety and risk issues to management.
• Calibrate and test equipment to meet quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with QA and regulatory teams on documentation.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Participate in cross-functional improvement projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
