Job summary

Hims & Hers, a leading health and wellness platform, seeks a Facilities Technician I, Compounding to support Operations Engineering & Maintenance in maintaining pharmacy lab equipment. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and document maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems within the labs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems with machinery without supervision or direction.
• Ability to document predictive/preventive maintenance charts, technical data and other data; interpret data for process improvement.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Bilingual in Spanish preferred).
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach overhead, climb stairs, and work safely in a lab/pharmacy environment.
• 2+ years of industry experience in maintenance or engineering in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on Lab Equipment including tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, coaters, air compressors and electrical controls.
• Document maintenance data on charts and records.
• Diagnose and repair equipment in the labs, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air compressors and HVAC systems.
• Identify facilities issues and chart trends for predictive maintenance actions.
• Communicate safety risks or potential losses to management.
• Perform calibration and testing to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with QA and Regulatory teams to maintain equipment logs and validation reports.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize manufacturing disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
