Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in Pharma (raw chemicals)
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Science or Chemistry preferred
• Ability to nurture an extensive network of contacts
• Demonstrated competitive drive
• Strong business savvy in manufacturers, distributors, end-users relationships
• Active listening and problem-solving mindset to overcome objections
• Effective negotiation to realize value for products and services
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory

Responsibilities

• Improve Univar's position within each account using consultative selling at all levels within the account.
• Prospect for new business by conducting sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall customer satisfaction.
• Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase overall value to the customer.
• Maintain an updated view of your sales pipeline.
• Set pricing and service levels, and coordinate quotations with local branches.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure inventory levels.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety for you and colleagues.
