Job summary

Univar Solutions USA Inc seeks a motivated Sales Account Manager for the Pharmaceutical Ingredients team. You will build long-term value-based relationships, penetrate accounts, and drive growth across a covered US territory.

Responsibilities include consultative selling, expanding the customer base, retaining clients, and coordinating pricing and quotations with local branches. Some travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in the Pharmaceutical Ingredients industry ( APIs & Excipients valued).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; chemical science preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Improve position within accounts through consultative selling at all levels.
• Prospect for new business by making sales calls to grow the territory.
• Focus on customer retention and overall satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and consultative services to increase value.
• Maintain a clear view of your sales pipeline and forecast.
• Set pricing and service levels; coordinate quotations with local branches.
• Coordinate with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to manage inventory.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety for yourself and colleagues.
