Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Sr. Sales Account Manager to join our Pharma team in a home-based role. You will build long-term, value-based relationships with accounts, penetrate them for further business, and improve margins while reducing time and costs of management.

You’ll need 7+ years in pharma sales, a technical degree, and strong negotiation and networking skills. Travel within the territory is expected. This is a home-based role with nationwide eligibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of sales experience in Pharma (raw chemicals) industry.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or chemical sales preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Strong network of contacts and competitive drive.
• Understanding of manufacturers, distributors, and end-users relationships.

Responsibilities

• Improve Univar’s position within each account through consultative selling.
• Penetrate accounts to grow territory and drive margin.
• Focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
• Provide technical support and consultant services to increase value.
• Maintain an up-to-date view of your sales pipeline.
