Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I in North Chicago, IL to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging. You will set up equipment for routine processes and address performance issues to meet target OEE while adhering to GMP standards.

You will communicate operational events, identify improvement opportunities, and support safety initiatives. The role requires standing 8–12 hours and lifting up to 25 pounds, with strong teamwork and quality focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certificate or degree preferred; 2–3 years cGMP manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Team Member responsibilities; knowledge of GMP policies.

Education

Strong technical aptitude

Troubleshooting skills

Basic computer skills

Ability to train colleagues

Learning new programs quickly
