Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a Senior Project Manager with pharmaceutical facilities experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. The ideal candidate has senior-level pharma design expertise and will help shape high-performance manufacturing facilities.

You will collaborate with in-house engineering and architecture staff to ensure projects meet industry standards from scope development through commissioning and startup. SSOE offers a hybrid schedule and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• PMP certification preferred.
• At least 10 years in industrial facilities design and 5+ years managing pharmaceutical facilities projects.
• Experience managing major capital projects within engineering/architecture firms.
• Strong leadership, client relation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates multi-discipline major projects, overseeing all discipline job captains.
• Directly accountable for timetable and financial success of assigned project.
• Prepare fee proposal and contract negotiations with client input.
• Establish project scope with Discipline Captains and Department Managers.
• Prepares the plan, control procedures, and monitors progress.
• Prepares project budget and work schedule as progress measure.
• Manages budget for out-of-pocket expenses and cost control.
• Interfaces with clients, regulators, and consultants; oversees document control.
• Leads client presentations and supports business development efforts.
• May train other Project Managers and travel to client sites as needed.
