Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager with pharmaceutical facilities experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. You will lead multi-discipline projects, manage scope, schedule, and budgets, and partner with in-house engineering and architecture staff to deliver high-performance manufacturing facilities.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule with opportunities for remote work per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• PMP Registration strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial facilities design, with 5+ years in pharmaceutical facilities.
• Experience managing major capital industrial projects in engineering/architecture firms.
• Strong contract management, pre-design, and design administration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline major projects with all discipline leads.
• Be directly accountable for timetable adherence and financial success.
• Prepare fee proposals and negotiate contracts with client input.
• Define project scope with Discipline Captains and Managers for planning and tasks.
• Create project plans, control procedures, progress monitoring, and corrective actions.
• Develop budgets and schedules as progress benchmarks.
• Estimate out-of-pocket expenses and manage project costs.
• Administer project processes, including documents, cost estimating, and approvals.
• Contract outside consultants/services as needed.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and clients; ensure requirements are met.
• Coordinate meetings and paper flow with client, contractors, and others.
• Monitor progress, review work, and monitor construction costs.
• Review and approve client billings; support client relationships and BD.
• May mentor other Project Managers and support change management.
• Travel to project locations; may require international travel; valid driver's license.
