Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Senior Project Manager with pharmaceutical facilities experience to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. The ideal candidate will have senior-level experience in pharmaceutical facilities design and will shape high-performance manufacturing facilities across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• PMP registration strongly preferred.
• At least 10 years in industrial facilities design and 5+ years managing pharmaceutical facilities projects.
• Experience delivering major capital projects within an engineering or architecture firm.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates multi-discipline major projects, overseeing all discipline job captains assigned to project.
• Directly accountable for adherence to timetable and financial success of assigned project.
• Responsible for preparation of fee proposal and contract negotiations with client with input from PIC.
• Establishes project scope of work in coordination with Discipline Captains and Department Managers.
• Prepares the plan, establishes control procedures, monitors progress, and takes corrective action as needed.
• Prepares project budget and work schedule as a measuring stick of progress.
• Develops budget for out-of-pocket expenses.
• Interfaces with political subdivision inspection and regulatory agencies.
• Projects travel to client sites and may involve training.
