Job summary

SSOE Group in Columbus, OH, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities) to support Industrial Facilities Design and battery/complex projects. You will assist Senior and Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, work plans, schedules and budgets, and may manage small, low-complexity projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Associate degree in engineering preferred.
• CAPM certification encouraged.
• At least 1 year experience as an Engineer 1 or 3+ years related experience.
• Travel required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers with day-to-day project tasks, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare project plans and control procedures.
• Manage small or low-complexity projects under supervision.
• Assist in client communications and meetings.
• Support document controls and project close-out activities.
• Support proposals and client billing audits as needed.
• Coordinate meetings and travel as required.
• Assist in training junior staff.
