Job summary

SSOE Group in Toledo, OH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities) to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. The role supports Senior/Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, work plans, schedules and budgets, and may manage small, low-complexity projects.

You will collaborate across disciplines, assist with client communications, prepare proposals, and help with project close-out and documentation. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an Associate degree in engineering is preferred.
• CAPM Certification is encouraged.
• Minimum one year experience as an Engineer 1 or minimum three years related experience.
• Travel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experienced with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers and/or Project Manager with day-to-day project tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules, budgets, etc.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, control procedures, etc.
• Manage small and/or low-complexity projects under supervision.
• Audits client billings for Project Manager approval.
• May be the primary communication link between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
• Coordinate meetings and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies and others involved.
• May travel to other SSOE offices and client locations for coordination.
