Job summary

SSOE is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities) to join our Industrial Facilities Design team in Huntsville, AL. You will support Battery/Complex Projects Operation projects and assist Senior Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, work plans, schedules, and budgets, with opportunities to manage small, low-complexity projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or Associate degree in engineering.
• CAPM certification encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year as Engineer 1 or 3 years related experience.
• Willingness to travel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers with day-to-day project tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules, budgets.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, control procedures.
• Manage small and/or low-complexity projects under supervision.
• Audit client billings for PM approval.
• May be the primary communication link between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
• Follow procedures to administer project documents and controls.
• Coordinate meetings and document flow with client, contractors, regulatory agencies.
• Travel to other offices or client locations as needed.
