Job summary

SSOE Group seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities) to join our Industrial Facilities Design team in Birmingham, AL. You will help Senior Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, schedules, and budgets, and may manage small, low-complexity projects under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Associate degree in engineering field (preferred).
• CAPM Certification encouraged.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Engineer 1 or minimum 3 years related experience.
• Travel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CADD.
• Valid driver's license (waived for international assignments).

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers and Project Manager with day-to-day project tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules, budgets, etc.
• Assist in preparing project plans, budgets, control procedures.
• Manage small and/or low-complexity projects under supervision.
• Audit client billings for Project Manager approval.
• May be primary communication link between project teams, consultants and outsourcing partners.
• Coordinate paper flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies and others.
