Job summary

SSOE is hiring an Assistant Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Facilities) to support the Industrial Facilities Design team in Nashville and other project locations. You will assist Senior and Project Managers with day-to-day tasks, schedules, budgets and staffing, potentially handling small, low-complexity projects.

The role requires a engineering degree (licensure qualified) or equivalent, travel availability, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering qualifies for licensure in the state of practice.
• CAPM certification encouraged.
• Minimum one year as Engineer 1 or three years related experience.
• Travel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Project Managers and Project Manager with day-to-day tasks, staffing to fee, work plans, schedules and budgets.
• Prepare project plans and budgets and control procedures.
• Manage small and low-complexity projects under supervision.
• Audit client billings for Project Manager approval.
• Communicate client requirements to each discipline.
• Participate in client meetings, proposals, and RFI submittals.
• Assist in training other team members and providing project documentation.
• Coordinate meetings and document control with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Occasional travel to other offices or client sites.
