Job summary

STEQ America, LLC. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. The role involves on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training at customer sites across North America, with significant travel (approximately 40–60%).

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in the industry, a strong electromechanical background, and excellent communication skills. A bachelor’s in engineering is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of experience in pharmaceutical & biotechnology industry.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; travel up to 60% in US and international travel possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits and installations.
• Execute equipment installation, commissioning, and operator training.
• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Produce timely service reports and input data into CRM (Salesforce).
• Work remotely with limited supervision and travel as needed.
• Build positive relationships with customers on capital equipment projects.
• Demonstrate initiative to grow within the company.
