Job summary

Technical Source seeks a field service engineer to perform preventive maintenance on freeze-drying equipment worldwide and troubleshoot system errors to restore operation. You will support commissioning and assist with production, testing, and customer service tasks when not in the field.

You must read mechanical and electrical drawings, work with PC/PLC control systems, and travel up to 80%, including international assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Familiar with reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Experience with PC and PLC control systems in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on freeze-drying equipment worldwide.
• Troubleshoot system errors and identify root causes; implement corrective actions.
• Support equipment commissioning and assist with production, testing, and customer service tasks when not in the field.
• Complete and manage documentation and records for service execution and quality tracking.
• Remain available for on-call support as required by service agreements.
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites and maintain positive customer relationships.
