Job summary

True Red is seeking a Field Service Technician to support installation, commissioning and servicing of pharmaceutical process equipment across the US. The role involves hands-on work, extensive travel (roughly 80%), and collaboration with European engineering teams to ensure GMP-compliant performance.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and automation faults, conduct factory testing, and train customers on operation and maintenance while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical or vocational training.
• At least three years’ experience installing, commissioning, servicing or maintaining process systems or large-scale production machinery.
• Experience in regulated or quality-critical environments (pharma, food & beverage, etc.).
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of electrical systems, controls and automation.
• Methodical fault-finding and problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up and commission GMP washers, CIP/SIP systems and related process equipment.
• Support factory testing and training at the European facility, gaining in-depth equipment knowledge.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and automation faults to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades and calibrations at customer sites.
• Provide customer training on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
