Job summary

Almac Group is seeking a Distribution Coordinator for our Durham, NC location. The role focuses on coordinating processing and shipment of distribution orders, prioritizing shipments, liaising with Project Services, communicating with customers, and assisting in preparing Distribution Instructions.

Candidates should have High School diploma and up to 1 year in a professional office; pharmaceutical or distribution experience preferred.

Qualifications

Up to 1 year or more in a professional office environment.
Pharmaceutical or Distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor client protocol(s) workload daily to meet the agreed timelines for each distribution order.
Serve as main point of contact for Distribution department involving any shipment queries.
Monitor the performance of the logistics department for each study and provide reports on a regular basis to the Logistics Supervisor.
Assist in the research and preparation of Quality Events as applicable.
Assist in the generation and review of Distribution Instructions in the Logistics department.
Monitor Proof of Delivery (POD) information entered for distribution shipments in the COSMOS distribution system.
Investigate and reconcile orders that are on hold.
Serve as the Distribution/Logistics representative in customer telecons and meetings.
