Job summary

Bayer is seeking a supply chain operations leader to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for the Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio in the US market. You will coordinate data, systems, traceability and special programs, ensuring reliable service and compliant delivery.

Key duties include process improvements, contract and audit readiness, and collaboration with IT, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to support customer solutions and industry-readiness.

Qualifications

• Currently deployed in a multi-disciplinary customer solutions role in the Bayer Pharma Division.
• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field; 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to translate regulatory, data and system requirements into practical actions.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination, communication and stakeholder management.
• A proactive, forward‑thinking approach to evolving customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, billing, and cash-collection support.
• Drive compliant process improvements and act as a SME for contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to develop client solutions; strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance and marketing.
• Coordinate NDC-12 readiness across master data, SAP, serialization and pricing.
• Align cross-functional requirements and controls with IT, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans, manage risks, decisions and escalation to PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions on NDC-12 readiness and external expectations.
