Job summary

Genetec in Charlotte, NC seeks a Content Marketing Manager to lead B2B content and customer storytelling across North America. You will manage a team of writers, editors, and freelancers, aligning content with brand standards and campaign goals while contributing writing for ads and emails.

You will oversee customer stories, blogs, ebooks, and bylines, ensuring high-quality, measurable content performance. Collaboration with the marketing team and external partners is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in content marketing or editorial management.
• Experience managing multiple content formats (case studies, blogs, whitepapers/ebooks, bylines).
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent project management skills with overlapping deadlines and stakeholders.
• Experience managing freelance writers or agency partners.
• Working knowledge of SEO and content performance optimization.
• Candidate must be located anywhere in the East or Central USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of freelance writers, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver content on schedule.
• Manage customer stories (written and video), blogs, ebooks and long-form assets.
• Write short-form copy for digital ads and emails.
• Review content for brand voice, messaging, and quality standards.
• Coordinate content briefs and suggest enhancements.
• Direct the North America Customer Story program (written and video).
• Promote the customer story program to internal teams and potential customers.
• Schedule and direct customer interviews and manage final approvals.
• Analyze content performance and recommend improvements.
