Genetec is seeking a highly organized Content Marketing Manager to lead our B2B content programs in North America, serving as project manager, editor, and reviewer for customer stories, blogs, ebooks, and emails. The role blends strategy with hands-on writing and direct oversight of a freelance writing team.

You will drive content quality and performance, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign goals while mentoring a growing team and collaborating across marketing functions.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in content marketing or editorial management
• Proven experience with multiple content formats (case studies, blogs, whitepapers/ebooks, bylines)
• Strong project management skills with overlapping deadlines and stakeholders
• Experience managing freelance writers or agency partners
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities
• Working knowledge of SEO and content performance optimization
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience using a project management platform

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of freelance writers, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver content projects on time
• Oversee customer stories (written and video), blog posts, ebooks, and short-form copy for ads and emails
• Review content briefs and propose improvements to align with brand voice and campaign goals
• Direct customer interview scheduling and approvals for the North America Customer Story program
• Analyze content performance and recommend optimization strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance content for campaign performance
• Prioritize work based on corporate and team objectives
• Monitor and report on metrics like stories produced, engagement, and traffic
