Job summary

Genetec is seeking a highly organized Content Marketing Manager to lead our B2B content programs and customer story initiative in North America. The role acts as project manager, editor, and reviewer for all written content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.

You will manage a team of freelance writers, collaborate with internal teams, and sometimes contribute short-form copy for digital ads and emails.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of experience in content marketing or editorial management.
• Experience managing multiple content formats (case studies, blogs, whitepapers/ebooks, bylines).
• Strong project management skills with overlapping deadlines and stakeholders.
• Experience managing freelance writers or agency partners.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.
• Working knowledge of SEO and content performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of freelance writers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to complete high-value content projects on time.
• Write short-form copy for digital ads and emails.
• Review and edit content to ensure alignment with brand voice, messaging, and quality standards.
• Review content briefs and suggest content improvements.
• Manage the North America Customer Story program (written and video) including interviews and approvals.
• Continuously analyze content performance and recommend improvements.
• Work with internal teams to enhance campaign performance and content additions.
• Prioritize work based on corporate and team objectives.
• Monitor and report on key metrics such as number of customer stories, engagement, and traffic.
