Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) is seeking a Lead Construction Safety Specialist to provide on-site HSE leadership for our pharmaceutical client in Kenosha, WI.

This full-time role (40-72 hours/week) offers on-site responsibility for safety oversight of construction activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and client standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, safety, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of on-site construction health & safety experience.
• CHST/ASP/CSP certifications preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or high-tech project experience highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour construction, confined space entry, and fall protection training preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Engage with owners and contractors as the owner's representative.
• Promote safety culture across contractor groups.
• Identify hazards and influence safe work practices.
• Input into project planning from an HSE risk perspective.
• Develop site-specific HSE strategies.
• Serve as site lead for ERM's HSE owner's rep team.
• Interface between site leadership, contractors, and ERM PMO.
• Conduct daily site inspections and document safety performance.
• Train on-site workers and subcontractors on EHS requirements.
• Maintain safety-related documentation on site.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings.
• Review JHAs and obtain signatures.
• Issue daily site observation reports.
