Job summary

ERM is seeking a Lead Construction Safety Specialist (Field Based) to provide on-site HSE leadership for a pharmaceutical project in Kenosha, WI. The role is full-time (40 - 72 hours/week), for 12 months with renewal, and requires active management of safety programs, documentation, and training on site.

The successful candidate will engage owners, contractors, and ERM teams to ensure regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture across all trades, while coordinating daily site activities

Qualifications

• On-site construction health and safety experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry and construction standards.
• Training and leadership in safety programs on active construction sites.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, contractors and ERM teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with general contractors and subcontractors as the owner's representative.
• Promote the client's safety culture across contractor groups.
• Identify hazards and influence safe work practices on site.
• Provide input into project planning from an HSE risk perspective.
• Develop and refine site-specific HSE strategies in alignment with client expectations.
• Act as site lead for ERM's HSE owner’s representative team and coach staff.
