Job summary

Mason Harding is seeking a VP of Business Development to lead new-logo acquisition in pharma/biopharma, building and directing a small BD team. You will own enterprise deals, shape outbound strategy, and serve as the face of the company to top pharma accounts.

You will influence product positioning and win strategy while engaging with VPs of Digital, Manufacturing, and R&D at the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, driving a high-visibility growth engine.

Qualifications

• Must have proven success landing net-new pharma/biopharma logos at the enterprise level.
• Experience selling complex software, data, analytics or digital transformation to pharma functions.
• Demonstrated discipline in enterprise sales processes (MEDDIC/Challenger or equivalent).
• Credible with technical and C-level buyers in pharma manufacturing, R&D or quality.
• Ability to lead a small BD team while meeting quota.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute an enterprise pharma target plan.
• Lead and close multi-stakeholder cycles with executive sponsorship.
• Develop and coach 2 direct reports; drive a disciplined pipeline.
• Own the full BD motion from outbound to executive relationships.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership on positioning and strategy.
• Represent the company at pharma industry events and forums.
