Job summary

Yahoo Inc. is seeking a seasoned Ads Sales Director for the Pharma category in the United States.

You will lead revenue growth across Yahoo's full-funnel Pharma advertising solutions, from direct-sold sponsorships to performance media, engaging with brands and agencies at the highest level. You will build strategic relationships with C-level executives, identify 8-figure opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft integrated go-to-market stories.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of frontline digital ad sales experience.
• Pharma/Healthcare experience preferred (2–4 years).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive strategy to attract Pharma advertisers, including branded prescription, OTC, and healthcare-adjacent brands, driving adoption of Yahoo’s solutions and achieving revenue growth targets.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at brands and agencies, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and partner.
• Identify strategic partnership opportunities that command 8-figure investments and tailor them to the category’s needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Yahoo, including content, business development, and product, on an integrated go-to-market story for your set of clients.
• Stay abreast of category trends, regulations, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to accelerate adoption and growth.
• Navigate privacy standards and brand/legal review processes in regulated healthcare advertising to bring compliant solutions to clients.
• Work with an agency development team to evangelize Yahoo’s offering at the media holding company level.
• Demonstrate understanding of client objectives and deliver innovative, measurable business impact.
