Job summary

Aptar Pharma, a unit of AptarGroup, Inc., is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support North American and international customer relationships. You will help with sales, marketing and travel to client sites, with a focus on pharmaceutical services and device expertise.

Ideal candidates have a science or business background and 3+ years in field sales, plus strong CRM/MS Office skills and presentation abilities.

Qualifications

• BS in the Natural or Physical Sciences, related scientific field, or Business Degree with strong technical interests.
• 3+ years of Outside Sales / In-the-field experience.
• Pharmaceutical services industry experience is preferred, and medical device experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow new and existing customer accounts in North American territories and international markets.
• Secure and nurture long-term relationships with customers in designated territories.
• Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales pipeline and budget assumptions.
• Close sales by building rapport, explaining products, and preparing contracts.
• Travel up to 50% for on-site meetings, conferences and trade shows.
