Novogradac is seeking a Principal to oversee a range of audit engagements, with emphasis on PHA, HUD and government-related work. You’ll lead, mentor and develop staff, manage client relationships and help grow the firm’s public housing and compliance expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required or in process.
• 9+ years of public accounting experience with client engagements.
• Ability to manage staff and mentor junior professionals.

• Proven track record in business development and meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client engagements from planning to staffing and final delivery.
• Supervise and mentor staff at all levels with minimal supervision.
• Identify new clients and pursue sales opportunities to meet targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners, clients and the business community.
• Represent the firm in conferences, publications and recruiting events.
