Job summary

The Principal at Novogradac will oversee a variety of audit engagements, with a focus on Public Housing Authority and HUD-related work for government and affordable housing clients. You’ll manage engagements from planning to completion, develop client relationships, and drive growth in this specialized practice area.

You will lead and mentor staff, ensure quality deliverables, meet annual sales goals, and represent the firm externally on panels and in client forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license required.
• 9+ years in public accounting or equivalent balance of education and work experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships and staff.
• Ability to manage a fee base of at least $1,000,000 as Principal-1 and grow annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a variety of audit engagements with minimal supervision and drive project success.
• Supervise and mentor all levels of staff, conduct performance evaluations and develop talent.
• Identify and pursue new clients, meet sales goals, and grow firm services.
• Promote the firm externally and contribute to panels, publications and trainings.
