Job summary

Novogradac is seeking a Manager to lead audit and related assignments, primarily serving governmental and affordable housing clients with a focus on PHA and HUD engagements.

You will supervise Staff and Senior Accountants, mentor team members, and drive client relationships while helping increase office profitability. Strong GAAP knowledge, CPA status, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagements with planning, staffing, and client communications.
• Oversee engagement reviews and issue resolution.
• Mentor staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Support new client development and profitability.
• Travel domestically as needed.
