Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Manager to supervise PHA and HUD‑related audit engagements, develop client relationships, and mentor Staff and Senior Accountants. The role emphasizes technical excellence, profitability, and firm leadership in a government and affordable housing practice.

You will manage engagements, ensure timely delivery, and contribute to business development while upholding high professional standards across GAAP and auditing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; 5–8 years public accounting balance accepted.
• CPA license strongly preferred; GAAP and auditing standards expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engagements, planning, staffing, timing, and technical decisions.
• Review engagements, identify issues, provide solutions with minimal oversight.
• Mentor Staff and Senior Accountants; conduct performance evaluations.
• Support Principals/Partners in new client pursuit and relationship building.
• Engage in business development and promote the Firm’s image through events and publications.
• Enhance client relationships via responsive, service‑oriented delivery.
