Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive the flow of clients and pets, maximize the veterinary team’s productivity, and ensure welcoming service. You will educate clients about wellness plans and coordinate care to support client retention and referrals.

The role requires ability to handle high-volume client interactions, work weekends/evenings, and maintain accurate records. A medical background is preferred and prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service.
• Medical background preferred (vet tech, human healthcare, pharmaceutical).

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Promote hospital services and route clients to maximize productivity.
• Maximize pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital workflow.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet information.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices and scheduling.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
