Job summary

Tractor Supply Company’s Petsense team seeks a Team Lead to assist the Store Manager and promote outstanding customer service while overseeing daily operations and merchandising.

You will train Team Members, ensure safety, manage shifts, handle POS procedures, and help load purchases. Experience in retail or live animal knowledge is preferred, and 18+ with a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, reading/writing/counting abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with execution of operational, sales, and merchandising objectives while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment and train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and manage cash-handling duties.
• Execute merchandising plans, price changes, and Plan-o-gram procedures.
• Assist customers, load purchases, and ensure the safety and well-being of live animals.
