Job summary

Tractor Supply Company / Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Store Team Member to support store management in achieving operational, sales and merchandising goals. You will deliver outstanding customer service and help train Team Members, while promoting a safe, productive environment and handling live animals as required.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, cash handling, stocking, merchandising, price changes, and assisting customers with loading purchases.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Able to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management with operating, selling, and merchandising objectives.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment and adhere to policies.
• Train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Execute merchandising activities and price changes.
• Open/close procedures and cash handling.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and handle live animals safely.
• Resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize workflow throughout the shift.
