Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Store Team Leader to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in achieving sales, merchandising, and operational goals while delivering outstanding customer service. You will promote a safe work environment, train Team Members, and ensure excellence in handling live animals, cash handling, and store operations.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong customer service focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and overtime.
• Uphold and promote a safe work environment by following policies.
• Support selling initiatives and engage with customers.
• Execute merchandising, pricing, and plan-o-gram activities.
• Open/close procedures and cash handling.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and resolve issues.
• Train Team Members on policies and procedures.
• Handle and care for live animals and maintain holding areas.
• Complete documentation for duties and responsibilities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
