Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to support store leadership in daily operations, merchandising, and customer service. You will help maintain a safe environment, assist customers with purchases, and care for live animals as needed.

The role emphasizes flexible hours, routine price changes, and teamwork to meet store goals while ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers and their pets.

Qualifications

• Experience: Retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with execution of operations, sales and merchandising objectives.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment and train Team Members on policies.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Execute merchandising plans, price changes and Plan-o-grams as required.
• Open/Close procedures and cash handling procedures; balance cash drawers daily.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and care for live animals as required.
