Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Store Shift Supervisor in Massachusetts to lead daily store operations, ensure exceptional neighborly service, and mentor team members. You will reinforce PSP standards, handle back-office tasks, and support recruiting and onboarding processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of retail experience, and strong Microsoft Office and communication skills. Flexible schedules and a focus on pet care complete the profile.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate all equipment, including a forklift, to run the store.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist neighbors in selecting products and provide friendly, neighborly service.
• Greet regular customers and their companions.
• Demonstrate basic product testing for fish tanks.
• Lead by example and reinforce store standards.
• Support store leaders with daily operations and performance expectations.
