Job summary

Hollywood Feed is hiring a Third Key Holder in Strongsville, OH. You report to Store Manager and Assistant, open/close the store, serve customers, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations while upholding Hollywood Feed's first policy: "Do what is right by the customer." This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.50/hr.

to $19/hr. Availability includes 3 weekend nights per week; duties include stocking, assisting in management, and training new employees while delivering

Qualifications

• Commitment to animals and their owners.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive prior to opening and remain after closing to prepare the store for business.
• Assume managerial responsibilities in the event of management absences.
• Greet and assist customers according to Hollywood Feed standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of store products to address customer needs.
• Maintain open, respectful communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work independently and as part of a team; train new employees.
• Maintain open weekend availability including 3 nights per week.
• Unload and stock product deliveries.
• Operate the POS system including opening/closing registers, creating customer accounts, processing transactions, and inventory tasks.
• Participate in educational sessions and store maintenance duties.
• Safely operate company vehicles for Same Day Delivery per policies.
