Job summary

Hollywood Feed Canton is seeking a Third Key Holder to help manage daily store operations, assist customers, and lead when management is unavailable. You will open/close the store, ensure safety and profitability, and uphold our customer-first policy.

The role offers an hourly wage of $15.50 to $19 with weekend availability. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, plus a passion for pets.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of store products or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to operate or learn the point-of-sale system.
• Valid driver's license with at least 2 years' driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Arrive before opening and stay after closing to prep for business operations.
• Assume managerial responsibilities in absence of store management.
• Greet and assist customers per service standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products to meet customer needs.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers.
• Work independently and as part of a team; train new employees.
• Open and weekend availability including 3 nights per week.
• Unload and stock deliveries.
• Operate Hollywood Feed POS system: opening/closing registers, creating accounts, processing transactions, inventory counts.
• Participate in educational sessions and complete weekly store maintenance tasks.
• Take on additional administrative duties as assigned.
