Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the PET Scan Unit. This full-time role supports diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures for patients across age groups in a collaborative radiology team.

Under supervision of the Department Director and Lead Technologist, you will contribute to quality control, safety, and patient care, while participating in on-call scheduling to meet department staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures and related activities for all patients.
• Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
