Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the PET Scan Unit. This full-time position offers 10-hour day shifts.

You will work under the direction of the Department Director and Lead Technologist, collaborating with radiologists and physicians to perform radionuclide-based procedures for patients of all ages. Required qualifications include completion of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program and national certifications; preferred hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA committee.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist (NMCB/ARRT) on hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radionuclide-based procedures per department standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians; participate in quality control and call coverage.
