Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the PET Scan Unit on a full-time day shift.

Under supervision, you perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures for all ages while participating in quality control and acting as a patient service liaison. Required credentials include a nuclear medicine program graduate, national certification/or registry, California certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA committee.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist upon hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per standards.
• Serve as a patient service representative to patients and families.
• Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Share in the call schedule to meet staffing needs.
