Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the PET Scan Unit.

The role is full-time with 10-hour day shifts, reporting to the Department Director and Lead Technologist, and collaborating with radiologists and other physicians. The technologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures for patients of all ages, serve as a patient-facing representative, and participate in quality control and staffing calls to ensure service

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved nuclear medicine technology program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist (NMT).
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• Experience as hospital-based nuclear medicine technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients and staff.
• Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Join the call schedule to meet staffing needs.
