Providence is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures while collaborating with healthcare professionals. Under the direction of the Department Director and Lead Technologist and in collaboration with the radiologists, cardiologists, other physicians, and the Area Physicist, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures and related activities for all patients served (child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) according to department and regulatory standards. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
