Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support the PET Scan unit.

This full-time role involves 10-hour day shifts and collaboration with radiologists, cardiologists, and other specialists to perform radionuclide-based procedures on patients from pediatric to geriatric. You will participate in quality control, contribute to safety and regulatory compliance, and support patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nuclear medicine technology program approved by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Preferred hospital-based nuclear medicine technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists and other physicians.
• Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Contribute to call schedule to meet staffing needs.
