Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka in Eureka, CA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the PET Scan Unit. This full-time role features 10-hour day shifts and collaboration with radiologists, cardiologists, and physicians to perform radionuclide-based procedures for diverse patient populations.

You will participate in quality control, call coverage, and quality-improvement activities while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a trusted Providence setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist at hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per standards.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families and staff.
• Participate in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Join the call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
