Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the PET Scan Unit. This full-time day-shift position requires performing diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures with a focus on patient care and safety.

You will work under the direction of the Department Director and Lead Technologist, collaborating with radiologists and physicians while contributing to quality control and department staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA.
• NMTCB or NMRT certification required upon hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians; participate in quality control.
• Serve as a representative for patients and families; participate in call schedule.
